Missed Opportunities Means A Longer SentenceJust three weeks into 2010 we have already been contacted by four different clients who are struggling with the difficulties
of being sentenced to serve time in a federal prison. While we are certainly well prepared to assist these individuals with

Former NBA Referee Timothy Donaghy To Be Released From PrisonTampa, Florida - November 2, 2009

Former NBA referee Timothy Donaghy will be released from federal prison
on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 after serving just over 13 months of a 15 month sentence. In June 2009, Donaghy was transferred
from a federal prison camp in Pensacola, Florida to a Residential Re-entry facility in Tampa, Florida. After a misunderstanding
of travel restrictions relative to the treatment of his injured knee in mid August, federal authorities transferred Donaghy
to a detention center near Tampa to finish out the remaining 2 1/2 months of his sentence.
Other than the injured
condition of his knee, Donaghy is in good health and is excited about seeing and re-uniting with his four daughters and family.
He plans to reside in the Sarasota area where he will continue treatment for his gambling addiction, seek an appropriate surgical
remedy for his injured knee, and attempt to find a job with a sales or marketing firm.
While in prison, Donaghy
completed a book depicting his early years, the path that led to his professional career as an NBA referee, the lifestyle
that resulted in his gambling addiction, a full disclosure of his improper actions as an NBA referee, along with the behaviors
that led to his federal conviction and sentence to prison. After a recent rejection by Random House, Donaghy will look to
find a company interested in publishing his book.
Mr. Donaghy will be unavailable for comment and/or direct interviews
